Upgrading or Downgrading your Plan

All upgrades and downgrades go into effect on the 1st of the month and can be set up in your account at any time. Simply log into your account, click on the Account tab, and select My Account. From there, you can open up Modify Plan and see the plan you are currently on and choose to upgrade or downgrade your plan for the following month.

Upgrading

If you are on a monthly subscription plan, you can upgrade your subscription for the current month at any time. You will retain all forever credits and active Single Property Websites and Virtual Tours when you upgrade your plan.

If you are on an annual subscription plan, you can upgrade to a larger subscription plan, however, in so doing you are committing to the larger plan for the remainder of your original annual term. Once you upgrade your annual plan, you can no longer downgrade to your original subscription plan with the original monthly instalment payment but are committed to the larger monthly instalment payment until the end of your annual term.

Downgrading

If you are on a monthly subscription plan, you can downgrade your current subscription plan at the end of the month, effective the start of the next month. There is no penalty for downgrading your plan.

Clients on an annual subscription plan however, are not allowed to downgrade to a smaller subscription plan until the end of their current annual term. In order to downgrade, a client on an annual subscription plan must first cancel their plan, pay the early termination fee to cancel and then re-subscribe to a smaller plan on either a monthly or annual term.

Legacy Plans

If you signed up for a subscription prior to March 2023, you are most likely on a legacy plan with overage charges and rollovers. If you are on a legacy plan, you can upgrade to other legacy plans and you will continue to rollover 100% of unused credits if you upgrade your subscription plan. Click here to read more about rollover credit caps per plan. On legacy plans, rollover balances will be reduced by half when you downgrade to a smaller subscription plan. Once on a smaller plan, you will be able to start receiving 100% rollover again, as long as you remain on your new plan.

Moving to On Demand

To learn more about canceling your subscription plan and moving to an on-demand account, go here. Please note that when you move to an on-demand account you will lose all of your forever credit or rollover credit balance and will not be able to recover those lost credits even if you re-subscribe.

PhotoUp does not offer cash refunds.
